Am I having hot flashes?

Seriously guys. If you live in Southern California, you know what I mean. It's like deathly hot...and not even just the heat, but the intense dryness. It's so oppressive. This is not the spring weather I imagined! It is not prance in the meadow, put daisy chains in my hair, wear a pretty white lace dress and have a picnic weather! This is, I just want to stay at home to maintain my paleness, don't make plans with me until the sun sets, oh gosh my soul is dying, heat.

Was that too much? This is seriously how I feel when it's summer/hot. I don't know why...I've lived here ALL my life and I still don't like warm/hot weather. I know I made like a billion posts about outfits for spring, but they still require some sort of outerwear, no? It's still slightly breezy! Anyway, I decided to not be a spoiled sport and actually make use of the hot weather. Here is an inspiration board/collage to get us all in the mindset that this damned heat is actually our friend, and not an annoying classmate trying to borrow your notes.

I guess I'm into really flowy dresses, white tops (almost sheer, tops tucked in, loose, overly huge, with details, anything!), and the perfect high-waisted linen/cotton shorts. I have velvet and I have jean shorts...but ah! the elusive linen, how come I can't find you???
