After seeing Australian label myPetsQuare's lookbook on Rhiannon's blog, I knew I had to share it with you. Not only are the dresses girly and something I would totally wear (if I had an unlimited budget), they were inspired (in part) by 1960's French new wave films, Anna Karina, and of course Jean-Luc Godard. Throw in a good reference like that, and you have already got me hooked (I mean, even the model is sporting an adorable bob like Anna's in Vivre sa vie!). Add a few of my new loves (Breton stripes--who knew I could actually wear stripes? Go figure!--and straw hats) into the mix, and myPetsQuare has got my heart in the palm of their hands.
